“On the fact of the death of a seven-year-old boy in Nizhny Tagil, wounded by a man, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime ... murder from hooligan motives. The criminal case is in the production of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, ”the official representative of the department, Svetlana Petrenko, said.
The suspected man is detained, the question of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
According to investigators, in Nizhny Tagil on August 4, a 35-year-old man, while intoxicated, began firing at tin cans near the bungee on which the children rode, resulting in a seven-year-old boy wounded in the head. On January 12, the child died in a hospital in Yekaterinburg after five months of treatment.
A case of hooliganism and infliction of grievous bodily harm through negligence has already been initiated against the man by the police.
