According to a press release from the Prosecutor's Office, six of the ten who will be charged have been arrested since the summer and fall of 2019. Five of them are suspected of particularly serious drug crimes, four for assisting in extremely serious drug crimes. Two people connected to the property where the cultivation took place are suspected of gross money laundering.

In addition, the main characters behind the cultivation will also be prosecuted.

- I am prosecuting for the extensive cultivation that was going on in the yard. In addition, we have found traces of cultivation that correspond to four previous cultivation rounds, says chamber prosecutor Jenny Karlsson in the press release.

400 kilos of cannabis

According to the prosecutor's office, it is a very large cultivation, in total the police seized 3459 plants. In addition to the ongoing cultivation, the prosecution also applies to previous production of at least 400 kilos of cannabis. According to the National Forensic Center, it should be the largest single cultivation to date analyzed.

The drug must have been intended to be sold in the Gothenburg area.

At a press conference in Skövde on Wednesday, prosecutors and police are expected to tell more about cannabis recovery.
