FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have inherited two Spanish third division clubs (Segunda B), Ibiza and Salamanca respectively, in the draw for the round of 16 of the King's Cup on Tuesday.

Smooth beginnings: for their first match in the 2020 King's Cup, Barça, who just sacked his coach Ernesto Valverde on Monday to replace him with "Quique" Setién, and Real, who just won the 11th Spanish Super Cup in its history in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on Sunday, will begin with competition by two opponents within their reach, according to the draw carried out at the headquarters of the Spanish football federation (RFEF), in Las Rozas, a suburb of Madrid.

In the previous round, Ibiza eliminated Albacete (D2) after the penalty shootout (1-1, 5-3), as did Salamanca, who caught Deportivo La Coruna, last in D2, 1-1 before outperform 8-7 on penalties.

After taking part in the new Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia last week, Atlético Madrid and Valencia CF will also enter the competition against D3 clubs, Leon and Logrones respectively.

Two duels will oppose La Liga teams: Sevilla FC - Levante and Real Sociedad - Espanyol Barcelona.
