As the agency indicates, earlier, representatives of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Trans-Baikal Territory, while inspecting the territory adjacent to the colony, found three drug packages that were prepared for illegal transfer to those serving their sentences.

"In the city of Krasnokamensk, Trans-Baikal Territory, police arrested three local residents who are suspected of attempted drug trafficking," the statement said.

On the fact of an attempt on the illegal sale of narcotic drugs committed on a large scale, a criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under paragraph 3 of article 30, paragraph “d” of paragraph 4 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia.

Earlier, kp.ru reported that in St. Petersburg, drug control officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the police of the St. Petersburg police department, detained members of a large organization that was engaged in the distribution of drugs via the Internet.
