It is noted that the parties discussed further coordination of “the efforts of Russia and Turkey to facilitate the settlement of the Libyan crisis in the context of the inter-Libyan peace talks held in Moscow on January 13 on the joint Russian-Turkish initiative and preparations for the international conference on Libya in Berlin”.

Russian-Turkish talks on Libya took place in Moscow on January 13, they ended without signing an armistice agreement.

Later it became known that the commander of the Libyan National Army, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, left Moscow without signing an agreement.

The Russian Ministry of Defense noted that he took two days to discuss the signing of the final statement on the armistice in Libya with the leaders of the tribes that support the LNA.
