Most climate analyzes point to a changing climate in Sweden. Mild winters, more rainfall but also longer dry periods are some of the changes that are predicted.

In 2015, SMHI conducted an analysis of what climate change will mean. One aspect that was looked at was the snow cover. This is precisely the case with the snow cover, the so-called forest counties (Värmland, Dalarna, Gävleborg, Västernorrland, Jämtland, Västerbotten and Norrbotten) have ordered an in-depth analysis.

- We want a better basis for being able to make the right decision in the future, says Lars Jonsson, coordinator at the County Administrative Board in Jämtland to SVT Jämtland.

In the clip you hear which industries will be most affected by a smaller snow cover.
