A hunter was injured on Sunday during a wild boar hunt near the town of Pardailhan in Hérault. Hit by a gunshot, the man was injured in the abdomen.

The gendarmerie opened an investigation to try to determine the precise conditions of this hunting accident, indicates to 20 Minutes Raphaël Balland, the public prosecutor of Béziers. The alleged perpetrator was immediately placed in police custody and then released in the evening, after a hearing with the various protagonists.

The life of the victim is not in danger.
