“The footage shot on Friday captures the current state of the crash site of the Ukrainian PS752 flight in Tehran. At the scene of the tragedy, you can see cars and local residents. Almost all of the wreckage of the crashed plane was removed, ”Ruptly said in a statement.

In a post, Bellingcat interprets the video as confirmation that “the crash site of PS752 was completely cleared of debris before the disaster investigators could conduct a thorough investigation.” At the same time, the Iranian side previously provided Ukrainian experts with access to black boxes and fragments of the liner, as reported by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Priestayko.

“RT, in fact, is very, very good with respect to the source videos from Ruptly, so, oddly enough, we use them quite often,” commented one of the Bellingcat employees Arik Toler.

RT is actually really, really good with original video via Ruptly, so we use them quite a bit, weirdly!

The Bellingcat portal gained fame after its “investigation” of the crash of the MH17 aircraft in the Donbass, which was carried out on the basis of various unofficial materials from social networks. Despite circumstantial evidence, a statement was submitted as the final conclusion of the investigation that Russia was allegedly involved in the crash of the plane.

Based on data from open sources, the organization also made conclusions about the "crimes" of government forces in Syria, and the methodology in these "investigations" is similar to the one they used in relation to events in Ukraine.

In April 2019, Ruptly video agency received the gold of the prestigious Shorty Awards for covering protests in France.
