It was on July 11 that a car collided with a tree outside Katrineholm. Both people traveling in the car got trapped and sustained serious injuries.

Later that evening, the teenage boy died.

Now the driver is charged with multiple crimes. Among other things, he must have driven the car on a pedestrian and bicycle road at high speed and is therefore suspected of gross carelessness in traffic.

He is also suspected of gross drunk driving when he should have had over a drink of alcohol in his blood. Since the other passenger died in the accident, he is also charged with causing the death of another.

The man has neither admitted nor denied a crime.
