Tel Aviv celebrated a car it said was an Emirati woman, holding the Abu Dhabi billboard, roaming Israeli streets.

An account of "Israel Speaks Arabic" of the Israeli Foreign Ministry said on Facebook that a car carrying an Emirati license plate was roaming the streets of Israel, and attached pictures of the car.

He pointed out that "the citizens of Israel" were surprised this week by a car carrying a license plate belonging to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, walking on Israeli streets.

It was not immediately possible to confirm an independent source or obtain comment from the UAE authorities on the matter.

Last month, outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised a Tweet of UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed on Twitter in which he referred to an article he spoke about the Arab-Israeli rapprochement recently.

More than once, Netanyahu announced a rapprochement between Israel and Arab countries, without specifying those states.

Among the Arab countries, Egypt and Jordan are linked only to two peace treaties with Israel.
