Brussels (AP) - EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has shown “very concern” about the temporary arrest of the British ambassador in Tehran. On Twitter, Borrell demanded full compliance with the Vienna Convention, which regulates the immunity of diplomats. The EU is calling for de-escalation, Borrell added. The British ambassador Rob Macaire was arrested in Tehran for a few hours and then released. He had participated in protests over the shooting down of a Ukrainian passenger plane by Iran.
