Parents confused about the failure of schools and other delays in making decisions

Parents of students told Emirates Today that the delay in public and private schools in the decision to disrupt the study due to climatic conditions confused them, noting that some schools this morning sent text messages to their phones informing them of the failure of the study due to the damage to the school buildings and their yards from rain, while schools played Another is about whether or not school hours will be confirmed tomorrow morning, which has put them at a loss.

She said, the Ministry of Education told "Emirates Today" that it is currently following all schools in terms of their readiness to receive students, and that based on the readiness of schools, the suspension of study will be assessed or not, according to the weather situation tomorrow by the competent authorities.

And private schools in Dubai and the northern regions of the country have sent text messages to parents stating that classes in schools will be suspended tomorrow due to weather conditions and the schoolyards are affected by rain water. The school hours will be resumed on Monday morning.

The Westminster School in Dubai sent a text message to parents stating that the school was affected by the rains and that it expected more rains, and that the school was concerned about the safety of students from going to school during the rains.

She explained that the administration decided to close the school tomorrow morning Sunday as a precautionary measure, and an email will be sent to the registered parents addresses, on the return of the study to its nature on Monday, and the families of the students will be informed of the return of the study using e-mail and social media.

The Madinah Private School in Ajman sent text messages to parents stating that it was decided to stop studying tomorrow morning due to the gathering of rain water, and that the study be resumed on Monday morning, and the National Charity School in Dubai published on its page on (Facebook) a text message to parents stating It is in the interest of the General Administration of Schools for the safety of students, employees, and school workers, and due to the accumulation of rain gathering in the streets of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and in the schoolyards, it was decided to disable students and staff tomorrow, in order to preserve their safety.
