Olympique de Marseille consolidated its second place in the Ligue 1 football ranking by winning 1-0 at Rennes, its first chaser now relegated to eight points, Friday at the start of the 20th day.
The Marseillais, who have twelve successes in twenty days, won thanks to a goal by Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman six minutes from the end of regular time. The 20th day continues on Saturday and will end on Sunday with the poster between Paris SG and Monaco.
