Bonobos live in groups of up to 120 members, females predominate and live with each other in harmony and peace. Researchers believe that the secret of peace that prevails in this species community is female dominance in this society.

Bonobo monkeys build thrones of branches and foliage on the trees they sleep on and the little ones play on, and this family feeds on fruits, hazelnuts, grains, green herbs, flowers and tree peel and complements their food with ants.
