Tan buses remain blocked at the depot due to staff movement. - Frederic Brenon / 20 Minutes

The situation in Nantes public transport is complicated this Friday morning. Since around 5.30 a.m., demonstrators have started blocking bus and tram depots (Dalby, Saint-Herblain and Trocardière), preventing vehicles from leaving. According to Pascal Bolo, the president of the TAN, the demonstrators are not personnel of the network.

According to the TAN, no tram line ensures its normal route and several bus lines are stopped, such as the C2, the C3, or the C20 (among others). Traffic as a whole is severely disrupted, she says.

Several cuts

In detail, line 1 is cut from Doulon and Manufacture but also between Croix Bonneau and François Mitterrand. Line 2 does not run between Ecole Centrale and Orvault Grand Val. Line 3, it circulates only between Hôtel Dieu and Beauséjour. TAN announces a tram only every 15 minutes and regularly updates the information on its website.
