It was at the end of October last year that the police, unsuccessfully, tried to stop an A-tractor at a speed high above the permitted in Vännäs. Only in Bjurholm could the police stop the car.
Now a 15-year-old, suspected of gross negligence in traffic and unlawful driving, is being prosecuted at Umeå District Court. The lawsuit states that the journey sometimes went up to 140 kilometers per hour in densely populated areas, also on pedestrian and cycle paths. The driver must also have ignored the police's attempt to stop the car and driven towards several stop signs.
The defendant admits illegal driving but denies gross negligence in traffic.
