ShareJanuary 09, 2020 After the increase in employment in the first half of the year and the fluctuating trend in the third quarter, in November the growth trend already recorded in October is confirmed, which brings employment to historic highs (i.e. since 1977, year of the beginning of the reconstructed historical series). Istat points out that underlining that the cyclical increase in employment is driven by permanent employees and by a significant increase in the employment rate of young people aged 25-34, while temporary workers and self-employed workers are falling.
