After 36 days of strike in rail transport, TER users will benefit from reductions or reimbursement of their subscription. This was announced on Thursday by the president of the Occitanie region, whose rail traffic has been very disrupted since the movement began on December 5.

In addition to the reimbursement of the December subscription announced the day before by the SNCF, the regional council indicates that it will be the same for one more month. Annual subscribers will therefore not be taken in February and March.

In #Occitanie, loyal users of #TER will have a 2-month subscription refunded!

Holders of a monthly or weekly subscription, taken since December 5, will also be reimbursed and will benefit from 25 to 50% reduction vouchers upon a new subscription. They will know the repayment terms from January 20 on the TER Occitanie site. A means for the community to win back users as soon as the conflict is over.

To finance these measures, the region will draw on the amounts that the SNCF pays it each year as late payment penalties.
