Justin Bieber returns to YouTube with an "intimate" documentary
Justin Bieber revealed on Wednesday on Instagram that he suffers from Lyme disease, an infectious disease that is contracted by tick bites, as well as infectious mononucleosis, a viral condition.
Bieber, 25, revealed his medical condition to respond to those who criticize him for his physical appearance , and to announce a documentary series about his life that will appear on YouTube at the end of January and is titled Justin Bieber: Seasons.
"While many people keep saying that Bieber's appearance is terrible, that he consumes methamphetamine , etc., what they don't realize is that I have recently been diagnosed with Lyme disease," the Canadian singer wrote.
"Not only that, but I had a serious case of chronic mononucleosis that affected my skin, brain functions, energy and my whole health," he continued.
"All this will be explained in a documentary series that I will soon put on YouTube. You will be able to know everything that I have been fighting and overcoming!", The artist added.

"It has been a tough couple of years, but I am having the right treatment that will help treat this disease that is currently incurable, and I will return better than ever," Bieber said.
The revelation coincides with the release last week of Yummy , Bieber's first single for four years.
The effects of Lyme disease vary in severity. In most affected people, the main sign of the infection is a skin rash accompanied by symptoms of tiredness, headaches and fever.
Lyme disease can progress to affect the heart, nervous system and skin of infected people. In the most severe cases, the disease can cause arthritis, encephalopathies and neurological disorders.
Bieber, who in November 2019 celebrated 10 years since the launch of his first EP, My World , which catapulted him to world fame, has turned to Instagram in the past to publicize his health problems.
In September last year he turned to the social media to confess his drug use, his depression and that he "abused" all his relationships.
