Gasparri: "Conte is politically involved"
"Regardless of whether or not a contest in the crime of President Conte is configurable, an element on which the junta cannot or must not express itself, certainly a political governmental involvement of the latter can be configured". This was written by the President of the Council for Immunities, Maurizio Gasparri (Fi), in his report on the authorization to proceed against Matteo Salvini for the Gregoretti case. An involvement, says Gasparri, "first of all proven by the absence of any contrary position on the conduct of the Gregoretti case by Minister Salvini and on the choices he made".

No to authorization
“The President of the Elections and Immunities Council, Senator Maurizio Gasparri, is the rapporteur for the Gregoretti case and has presented the report in which he proposes the refusal of the authorization to proceed against Matteo Salvini.
