The 16th round of the Coupe de France between the Red Star (National) and Nice, scheduled for January 18, has been reversed, said Thursday the club Saint-Ouen, who agreed to play at the Allianz Riviera rather than in its old Bauer stadium.

"The Red Star not wishing to receive OGC Nice anywhere other than Bauer, and aware of the structural limits of its stadium to receive the Aiglons and its supporters, the reversal of the meeting appeared as the only possible option", a explained the formation of third division.

The press release also mentions "the security and extra sports difficulties planned for this weekend in Ile-de-France".

By falling in National this summer, the Red Star has resumed its quarters in Saint-Ouen this season, after having played in Beauvais last year, its dilapidated stadium not being approved for Ligue 2.

In 2018, the Audonians could however play at Bauer stadium in the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France against Caen (1-0 defeat).

The club, currently 3rd in its Championship, obtained in January the authorization of the town hall to carry out the work necessary to bring up to L2 standards its historic enclosure in the event of a climb.

The planned facilities include the installation of a natural lawn, the compliance of lighting or the establishment of a video surveillance system, depending on the club.
