A 65-year-old retiree will be tried in May by the Toulouse Criminal Court for burglary. That of the home of a Blagnac resident who in April 2019 discovered on returning home after several days of absence that he had been visited. A window in his living room was broken and his computer, television and cash had vanished.

The on-site observations enabled investigators from the western territorial brigade to identify the DNA of the alleged burglar. He drove them straight to this 65-year-old woman, already known to the police.

The suspect, with fragile health, was summoned Wednesday to the Toulouse police station for a free hearing. She denied the burglary. The sixties, on the other hand, recognized another theft, dating back to the summer of 2017.

That day, the employee of a hairdressing salon in Toulouse realizes that her papers, including a checkbook, have disappeared from her bag left in the cloakroom. She quickly made the link with a client of the day, surprised in the local employees and who, moreover, had her hair done without paying, claiming to have forgotten her wallet.

It was already the famous retiree. She admitted on Wednesday that she had fraudulently used two checks from the hairdresser for a total amount of nearly 500 euros. For this offense, she undertook to reimburse the victim.
