Big fright this Thursday afternoon in Combourg, town located between Rennes and Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine). It was 2:45 p.m. when a 15-meter construction crane collapsed on a warehouse, firefighters learned. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. Only two people, shocked, were taken care of on the spot. The 42 people who worked in the warehouse at the time of the accident escaped unharmed.

Significant material damage

According to the first elements, the crane, which was piloted by a worker from a cabin on the ground, would have come out of its rails before falling. It was used to transport site equipment. Due to the material damage caused by the fall of the crane, 35 people will find themselves unemployed in the coming days.
