Five people have been indicted for involvement in the murder. The main characters are a 20-year-old man, his uncle and his father - as well as his 15-year-old girlfriend.

The victim, a 45-year-old man, was a childhood friend of the 20-year-old's uncle and father.

The 15-year-old girlfriend was initially suspected of the murder, but after many and long police inquiries told her that her boyfriend fired the shots.

Important testimony

She, as well as a friend of the 20-year-old, was present at the apartment in Märsta when the murder occurred. Their testimonies are important in the trial that begins today.

The technical evidence is also extensive. Bullets have been found in the apartment in Märsta with the victim's DNA. Where the body was dumped in Forsby, police officers found a knife with the victim's and 20-year-old's DNA and a key that goes to the apartment in Märsta.

"Hope we now hear the truth"

There was no clear motive for the murder.

- There has been a thief in the apartment, there is information that it was about drugs - but more we do not know. I hope that during the trial we will hear the truth about what led to the victim being killed and who did it, says prosecutor Anne Sjöblom.

The 15-year-old girl is herself charged with protecting the criminal, as she should have helped clean up after the murder.

She will be heard in court on Thursday.
