With over 400,000 visitors and in a local 26 times the size of Löfberg's arena, Internationale Grüne Woche has become a meeting place for food lovers from all over the world.

The food fair, which runs for ten days in January, is mainly about two things: expanding meal tourism and promoting food exports.

Several Swedish landscapes are represented in the Swedish booth, and this year Värmland is taking its place for the first time.

- There are two major tasks we take down. Partly to increase meal tourism in Värmland and in Sweden, and then we will be involved in promoting food exports, says Lena Calais.

This is what Värmland offers:

Funnel chutney and warm country honey from Grinnemo Raspberry and Honey in Grassland

Corncrake from Norra Sanna bakery in Karlstad

Sheep cheese from Finnskogen cheese

Buckthorn clover cheese and frame onion cheese from Lakene cheese

Warm beer from Wermland's brewery

Elk burgers in a collaboration between Almar's pub and Krokstad mansion
