SVT's meteorologist: Still autumn on the West Coast

On the West Coast, winter has not yet entered. According to SVT's meteorologist, it is still autumn due to the mild temperatures.

- It is clear that we did not have a proper winter cold. It is milder than it should be at this time, says Nitzan Cohen, a meteorologist at SVT.

The meteorological definition for winter is five days on the rake with an average temperature below 0 degrees each day. The winter arrival date is then set to the first of these five days.

- It could have been different, but the atmosphere was changed very quickly, says Nitzan Cohen.

As it looks, most of January will continue to be mild.

- I would aim for February and March to be interesting. I want to be clear that March is not necessarily a spring month. March can be a cold winter month, says Nitzan Cohen.
