"There are gas cylinders that we are working to secure and get out of there right now," says Fredrik Dackland, management operator at Stortstockholm Rescue Center.
The rescue service was alerted at 6:15 am on Wednesday morning to the scene. Right now, about twenty firefighters are on the scene. Smoke diving is underway to search for more fires in the building that is near Uppsala Central Station.
