Today, Wednesday, a Ukrainian passenger plane carrying 180 passengers crashed a few minutes after it took off from the "Imam Khomeini" airport in the Iranian capital, Tehran, and Iranian sources confirmed that the crash occurred for technical reasons.

The Director of Public Relations at Imam Khomeini International Airport, Ali Kashani, said that the Boeing 737 plane was heading to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, and fell in the Brend region near the airport southwest of Tehran, expecting it to be a defect in us behind its downfall.

A spokesman for the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization confirmed that the plane crashed minutes after take-off, and Iranian state television said that the plane carrying 180 passengers had crashed for technical reasons.

As for the spokesman of the Iranian Emergency Management Agency Mojtaba Khaldi, he said that ten ambulances rushed to the scene.

In turn, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent said he excluded the presence of survivors of the plane crash.
