On Tuesday, the criminal court of Saint-Brieuc (Côtes d'Armor) fined a young driver for "using a vehicle that could create a mistake with those of the police". A year and a half ago, he was arrested by the gendarmes in possession of a blue flashing light, reports Ouest-France .

This fan of tuning was obviously a fan of lights since he had customized his vehicle with blue LEDs. But he had also equipped his car with a rotating beacon, which he sometimes had fun operating behind his windshield. In the summer of 2018, a motorist who believed he was being followed by the gendarmes had reported the vehicle to the investigators, with a photo in support.

Controlled in possession of the flashing light in his glove compartment, the 20-year-old driver waited a year and a half before being tried. The criminal court simply fined him 300 euros.
