The Municipal Police of Madrid has arrested two individuals for assaulting and stealing a cell phone from three young people who were walking near the Plaza de Tirso de Molina , a spokesman for the Local Corps has informed Europa Press.
The events took place early Sunday at the height of the number 17 of Doctor Cortezo Street . Two men of Algerian nationality approached a group of three tourists, two Koreans and one Belgian, and stole a mid-range mobile phone.
In addition, they fled the place by assaulting them and engaging in a fight. A patrol of the Municipal Police went to the place, whose agents arrested the thieves, sent to the police station and recovered the stolen cell phone, which they delivered to its owner.
