Ten private health centers want more paid

The letter is addressed to the Chairman of the Regional Board Mikael Johansson (M) and the ten caregivers, which are found in Älmhult and Ljungby, among others, write that the new VAT on rental personnel distorts competition.

They write that the compensation, at most 6 per cent, from the Kronoberg Region for the 25 per cent increase in VAT makes it difficult for small private health centers to survive, reports Smålänningen.

Mikael Johansson responds that the conditions are different for private health centers, which, unlike public ones, can say no to patients if they do not have sufficient staff and thus do not have to hire hiring staff.

- We do not have that luxury in the region, we have a total responsibility, he tells the newspaper.

The letter will be addressed at the regional board meeting in January.
