The manager of a van selling snacks, installed in the parking lot of a nightclub in Saint-Marcel (Saône-et-Loire), near Chalon-sur-Saône, discovered the inanimate body of a young girl of 20 years in the night from Saturday to Sunday, reports Le Journal de Saône-et-Loire . Despite rapid intervention by the emergency services, the victim could not be resuscitated.

"I arrived at the Premium parking lot at 3 am," said the manager of the van. “I heard a jolt coming from the truck. (…) I saw his body lying on the generator. She was inanimate, "he added.

An autopsy of the body is in progress

The police commander of Chalon-sur-Saône confirmed the death of this young girl, who had spent part of her evening inside the nightclub with friends before leaving it. The investigators do not dismiss any leads for the moment, but the police commander stressed that there was "no objective element which could suggest a criminal act".

An autopsy performed on the victim's body is in progress. It should allow investigators to learn more about the circumstances of this tragedy.
