Millions of mourning crowds gathered throughout Iran at the funeral of Commander Soleimani, who was assassinated by a U.S. drone bombing.

Iran has declared its withdrawal of its nuclear agreement, saying it will not limit its uranium enrichment capacity and concentration.

The UN secretary-general, Gutès, called for easing tensions, saying geopolitical tensions have been at the top of the century.

After Iraq's parliament passed a resolution to withdraw its troops, Iraq's prime minister called on the US ambassador to cooperate with him.

The Iraqi government has declared the assassination of US troops in the country a violation of sovereignty and filed a complaint with the United Nations Security Council.
