During the night of December 28-29, a family worker in Pau received several frightened messages and phone calls from a 14-year-old boy he looked after two years ago. He then explained to him that he had just been sexually assaulted by a manager of a holiday center where he was, in Cierp-Gaud, in Haute-Garonne, says France Bleu Béarn.
Far from it, and faced with the situation, the educator encouraged him to leave the center, which the teenager did by escaping into the mountains, in a T-shirt and underpants when the temperatures were negative. It was the Luchon gendarmes, alerted by the family assistant, who found the youngster in the early morning, in hypothermia. He has since been hospitalized at Purpan Hospital in Toulouse, and is believed to be there.
Samples were taken. The prosecution of Saint-Gaudens, confirmed to 20 Minutes that an investigation was opened to shed light on what happened that night.
