A man, sixty years old, will be summoned to court after having crashed, behind the wheel of his vehicle, two young people who were riding a scooter in the night from Friday to Saturday in Lyon. The accident occurred around 1:50 am on the peninsula.

The two victims, aged 20 and 21, who were riding the same scooter and riding in the bus lane, fell heavily. The young man, who held the handlebars, suffered from a head trauma and his friend, hematomas on the hip, reports Le Progrès .

The driver, who fled after the collision, was found a few hours later, thanks to video surveillance cameras that identified his car. The man said he panicked because his vehicle was not insured. He was charged with involuntary injuries.
