A dramatic traffic accident occurred this Sunday noon just before 1 p.m. on departmental road 6 at the level of the town of Plélo (Côtes-d'Armor), we learned from the firefighters. As it turned to join the main axis, a car was struck on the side by another vehicle which came in front.
The shock was very violent. The driver, a 35-year-old mother, was ejected and died in the collision. Incarcerated in the vehicle, her five-year-old child also died. The driver of the second vehicle was slightly injured. In shock, he was transported to Saint-Brieuc hospital. Twenty firefighters were mobilized for this intervention.
