A man, who brandished a knife in a street in the Borny district of Metz, was injured this Sunday midday by police during his arrest, we learned from concordant sources. The individual was radicalized and shouted "Allah Akbar" according to the prosecutor.

"He is injured, his life prognosis is not engaged," said a police source, adding that the police had "been threatened" when they arrived and had to use their weapon to neutralize it. No one else was injured, the source said.

The previous Villejuif

Friday in Villejuif, a 22-year-old man, converted to Islam and suffering from psychiatric disorders, had killed a man and wounded two women with knives, shouting "Allah Akbar".

The Villejuif assailant was killed by the police, and the national anti-terrorist prosecutor's office took over the investigation.
