This Sunday, about fifty people were evacuated in an emergency from a Burger King restaurant in Trans-en-Provence, in the Var, learned 20 Minutes from the firefighters. And for good reason: a defective beverage dispenser released carbon dioxide due to a leak.

Two ambulances, a fire-fighting vehicle, a team specializing in chemical risks and a command vehicle of the Var firefighters were dispatched to the scene to rescue customers and staff members present at the time of the events. Fortunately, no victims have been identified. The intervention of a technician is underway to remedy the problem.
