Woman found dead in apartment - investigated as suspected murder

At 2 am the night before Saturday, police and ambulance were alerted to an apartment in Blackeberg in Stockholm.

- According to initial information, it was a case of a disease. On the spot in this apartment, a deceased woman was found. The circumstances surrounding this death mean that we have launched a preliminary investigation into murder, says Per Fahlström at the Stockholm Police.

What made the police suspect he did not want to go into further detail. But in the apartment there was also a man aged 75-80 who was arrested.

- He was there when we got there, he was the one who also called, says Per Fahlström.

The deceased woman is 55-60 years of age, according to police. The police are conducting a technical investigation on the site on Saturday morning.
