Police were called to Spenshult outside Halmstad on August 12, 2019 after an alarm about a knife rupture. A young man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and two men were taken to hospitals with knife injuries.

Judgment announced

In December, the man was prosecuted and they have now been notified at Halmstad District Court, reports P4 Halland. The man is sentenced to 10 years in prison and deportation for attempted murder. He will also pay damages totaling SEK 335,000, to the men he attacked with a knife, according to P4 Halland.

Repeated cutting

The man's single victim should have sustained wounds to his head, neck and upper arm - after repeated cutting. The other person sustained injuries to the right cheek and neck.
