Libyan medical sources said that more than 20 students of the Military College in the capital, Tripoli, were killed in the bombing by the forces of retired Major General Khalifa Hifter.

And witnessed neighborhoods and areas south of the capital, Tripoli and its north since the dawn of Friday, an indiscriminate air and artillery bombardment of residential neighborhoods, killing and wounding civilians.

One person was killed and five others - one of whom was a child - were wounded in the shelling of Haftar forces in the navigation balcony area in the vicinity of Maitika airport, with more than 10 Grad missiles.

Twelve homes, schools and a number of cars were damaged by the shelling, which forced the population to be displaced.

And the municipality of Souq Al-Jumuah, east of Tripoli, announced that it will suspend studies in educational institutions from tomorrow until Sunday until further notice, due to the indiscriminate shelling of the municipality's regions.

The Libyan government forces also announced that an Emirati airline in support of Haftar targeted Gate 17 at the eastern entrance to the city of Sirte, which is affiliated with the Government of National Accord.

Anatolia news agency quoted a spokesman for the "Sirte Protection and Insurance Force," Taha Hadid, as saying that the Emirati airlines carried out two air strikes.

Hadid explained that the first strike targeted the gate and resulted in the injury of a member of the protection force, while the second targeted a farm for a citizen, adding that air strikes will not affect the work of the force through the fixed and mobile patrols it carries out to establish security.

He pointed out that the strike that targeted the eastern entrance gate confused traffic temporarily in the city of Sirte (mid-north).

In a statement, "the Libyan Ministry of Interior" condemned the bombing in the strongest terms, and said that "such acts are war crimes and violations that are still being committed by the Haftar militias. It is not the first time and has been preceded by many violations."

The ministry called on the UN Security Council, the United Nations Mission and the international community to assume their responsibilities towards these "criminal acts by the Haftar militia."
