American actress Cameron Diaz (47 years old) and her husband rocker Benji Madden (40) have welcomed their first daughter together. The protagonist of 'Something Happens with Mary' and the Good Charlotte musician have become parents for the first time of a girl named Raddix and have turned to social networks to share the happy news with her followers.
In a joint statement posted on Instagram, they wrote: "Happy New Year of the Madden! We are very happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden."
The couple, who married in 2015, have announced that the girl "instantly conquered" their hearts but that they will not share any images of their baby because they want to "protect their privacy."
"He instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are delighted to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little girl's privacy . So we will not post photos or share more details, apart from the fact that she is really very pretty!
They complete the message with a New Year's congratulation: "From our family to all of you, we send you our love and best wishes for a happy new year and a happy new decade ... Sincerely, Cameron and Benji (sic).

Since the couple started dating in 2014, both have been questioned about their love life. However, Cameron had always assured that he would not be pressured to become a mother, since the universe would let him know if it was destined to be.
"I just like how things are unraveled and life is revealed to you. I had never experienced the sensation of telling myself 'now is the time I am supposed to have a baby,'" said the artist. "But I do want my own family, however it comes to me, either through adoption or through another method."
