Inés Arrimadas says that he does not throw in the towel and that he will try "until the last minute" that Pedro Sánchez is not invested thanks to his agreement with Podemos and Esquerra Republicana. That is why and this Thursday, January 2, he will call the barons of the PSOE to "stop this Frankenstein government disaster."

The spokeswoman for Citizens in Congress will begin with the socialist presidents of Aragon, Javier Lambán, Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, and Extremadura, Guillermo Fernández Vara. All of them will be asked if they agree with the PSOE pact with the PNV that "kicks out the Civil Guard of Navarra" or with the agreements reached with the independentists of ERC.

Arrimadas will also call the small nationalist parties that have to vote for Pedro Sánchez in the investiture, such as the Regionalist Party of Cantabria (PRC) and Teruel Exist to oppose the government "of insomnia, as Sanchez himself called it", has saying.

The spokeswoman for Cs also plans to telephone Pablo Casado to join the constitutionalist alternative proposed by Arrimadas, the so-called "via 221", which would avoid a PSOE government with Podemos through the center.

"You can not throw in the towel in this life," said Arrimadas, emphasizing that "until day 7 we have time to avoid the disaster and if the socialist barons want, they can avoid it."

In the words of the leader of Cs, if the barons of the PSOE "can not do anything to avoid" these "unfortunate pacts for Spain", he will suggest that they ask the deputies of their regions not to support this Government and thus contribute to stop this "madness".

Arrimadas has rolled back more than three years and has shown the political resolution approved by the Federal Committee of the PSOE in December 2015 that rejected any negotiation with the independence. In addition, he recalled that the barons he will call today forced Sánchez's departure as general secretary in October 2016. That is why he has asked them for "the same courage" that they then showed to stop the acting president of the Government.

Rod: That Cs vote in favor

The president of the Board of Extremadura, Guillermo Fernández Vara, hastened to answer Arrimadas on Twitter and told him that "he has it very easy". According to the Extremaduran leader, "instead of calling so much, vote in favor of the investiture of Pedro Sánchez and matter resolved." That way, ERC abstention would no longer be necessary.
