Abu Dhabi Police warned the public not to respond to any phone calls and suspicious messages aimed at seizing financial sums by fraud and defrauding the victims, under the pretext of organizing and organizing festivals under the umbrella of fake names for parties in the public and private sectors.
The police called on the public not to be led to suspicion of such calls and suspicious messages and to verify their source to avoid fraud and initiate verification of their authenticity and to report any suspicious phone calls and text messages.
Abu Dhabi Police considered the community awareness "the first line of defense" in dealing with such negative behaviors, by informing the relevant authorities and tracking these telephone and electronic crimes early, calling for the need not to be complacent in the process of reporting such crimes, even if the person did not fall victim, By formally reporting the incident, or by calling safety service on 8002626.
