The ex-Renault-Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn, who fled Japan, where he is being prosecuted for financial embezzlement, for Lebanon, claimed to have organized his departure "alone", he said in a press release sent to the media, including 20 Minutes .

"The allegations in the media that my wife Carole and other members of my family played a role in my departure from Japan are false and untrue. It was I alone who organized my departure. My family played no role, ”explains the ex-boss of Renault-Nissan.

A gigantic escape

At the end of a gigantic flight, the Lebanese-Brazilian-French prosecuted in Japan for financial embezzlement and placed under house arrest in Tokyo, arrived on Monday in Lebanon, where his place of residence remains unknown. According to the television channel MTV Lebanon, taken up by the English-speaking press, the former CEO of Renault-Nissan would have brought a music group home to leave discreetly by their side.

Once this private concert ended, Carlos Ghosn would indeed have slipped into a trunk originally intended for the transport of an instrument. Hidden in this way, he was then taken to a regional airport - with less strict controls than the two major airports in Tokyo - from where he took off for Turkey on a private flight. Once there, he finally boarded a jet bound for Lebanon.
