Earlier, the new Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, called on Russia to fight the US “economic terrorism” together.

On December 11, the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved a bill on the possible recognition of Russia as a “sponsor of terrorism” and the imposition of economic sanctions against it, along with Iran, North Korea, Syria and Sudan.
