He added that the laboratory has accomplished 50 scientific researches in the development of forensic evidence, most of which are published in periodicals and scientific references approved internationally in America and Europe, to testify to the scientific development achieved in the criminal laboratory.

Al Serkal explained that the laboratory started work with a limited number of devices not exceeding 10 devices in 1986, and many devices, equipment and technologies were added in its development stages, until they reached 300 highly sensitive devices and equipment that contributed to developing the quality of work outputs and keeping pace with developments , And address sensitive issues.

He pointed out that the external proficiency tests of the branch of the examination of material effects matched its results 100%, including counterfeiting, forgery, fires, weapons and machines.

Al Serkal stated that there is a set of creative ideas presented by employees in the laboratory, and approved, the most important of which is the design of a device to test the validity of capsules of different caliber bullets, to ensure accuracy and speed of completion, and ensure the safety of workers, and an application to verify the vehicle base number, and reuse the cases for the purpose of research And development.

He said that there are a number of important cases that came to the Biological Analysis Branch, including a murder that took place last July in the Jubail region, where an unknown person beat a passer-by at night and stole it and fled, and within days, the body of another person was found near the area of ​​the scene, Whacked in the same manner, and by looking at the scene of the accident, a wooden plaque was observed near the body, stuck with brown contamination, suspected to be bloody, and after removing a sample of red pollution and the fingerprints of the perpetrator, and by comparing it with other samples, the accused was reached and seized.

He emphasized that the Physical Archeology Branch dealt with the fire of the residential tower in the Al-Majaz area, which was caused after a cigarette was thrown by a resident from the top of the tower, and suspended in one of the porches stored flammable materials, which led to the burning of a number of floors in the residential tower.
