The Commissioner for Human Rights in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Daria Morozova, reported that the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic began an exchange of prisoners with the Ukrainian side.
“The exchange has begun,” Donetsk news agency quoted Morozov as saying.
Those previously held in the DPR and LPR were brought to the place of exchange with Kiev.
As noted by Morozova, the exchange of prisoners between Kiev and the republics of Donbass is planned according to the formula "87 to 55."
