Luka Doncic, barely back from injury, succeeds in a triple-double, the Lakers toil but win against Portland, Rudy Gobert's Jazz (12 points) knocks down the Clippers of Kawhi Leonard: here is a preview of the NBA night from Saturday.

Lakers toil, Mavericks draw

They were unsure until the start of the game, but LeBron James and Anthony Davis had made the trip to Portland and they finally allowed struggling Lakers to win 128-120 against the Trail Blazers.

LeBron James signed a double-double (21 points and 16 assists), while Anthony Davis scored 20 points and took 9 rebounds. Substitute Kyle Kuzma also distinguished himself with 24 points.

But the Lakers, who avoid the humiliation of a fifth defeat in a row, will not have time to savor this victory since they must face this Sunday the Mavericks, who record for their part the return of Luka Doncic.

And for his second game since his injury, the Slovenian prodigy resumed the same tempo that had been his since the start of the season, signing a triple-double, with 31 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists.

With a large 141-121 victory on the Warriors' floor, Dallas even broke a franchise record with a total of 24 3-point baskets (just 3 units from the NBA record).

The Frenchies: Rudy Gobert winner, Evan Fournier scorer

The two French who walked the floors on Saturday had a lot to do, with the Jazz of Rudy Gobert who measured against the Clippers of Kawhi Leonard and the Magic of Evan Fournier who faced the Bucks, first of the Eastern conference.

Despite the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (back pain), Milwaukee dominated Orlando 111-100. Evan Fournier still scored 23 points (3 rebounds and 2 assists).

For its part, Utah perfectly succeeded in its move by winning 120-107 against very clumsy Clippers (35 out of 95 on shots, 12 out of 40 at 3 points). Rudy Gobert scored 12 points, offered 9 assists and 7 rebounds.

"Back-to-back" successful for Miami

Two games and two wins in two days: this is the record of the Heat after its victory against Philadelphia (117-116), snatched in overtime thanks to a successful free throw by Jimmy Butler at 2.3 seconds from the end.

Jimmy Butler finished the game with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

Miami now has 15 wins for a single loss at home, while the Sixers are still struggling away from home (10 losses for 7 wins).

The three brothers

It was a historic first: three brothers (Aaron, Justin and Jrue Holiday) played at the same time in an NBA game. He pitted the Pacers against the Pelicans, who won 120-98.
