The small group that participated in Sunday's guided tour was taken through the Marin Museum as a meandering course. The tour is part of the museum's Christmas holidays.

The one who told everything to the children and parents was the guide Jessica Lindström. She thinks it is important to teach children about what has happened and what it could look like for children in the past. She brought with her a basket filled with old items that the children could feel. She also had a bowl of the kind of food eaten aboard the 18th-century ships.

- Then it becomes a dimension and you have to use all the senses, and not just stand and listen. It can be difficult for a long time when it comes to a little complicated things, she says.

Learn on the Christmas holidays

Nelly and Hugo Zetterdahl have been to the museum many times and are interested in ships and want to learn more.

"Our grandmother and grandfather have a boat and mom and dad want us to get a boat," says Nelly.

- On TV I sometimes check how it used to be in the past, says Hugo.

They look up at the galleon figures and find that it is very naked, which Nelly doesn't think is good. During the day, they learned about the shipwrecks who worked aboard.

How would you know if you had been working now, Hugo?

- Uh, tired ...
